During the reporting of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in neuroradiology, extra-encephalic findings (intra/extracranial), whether pathological or not, may be encountered and should be assessed by the imaging specialist to determine their inclusion in the report. These findings, known as incidentalomas, may either be the reason for the consultation and subsequent MRI or remain asymptomatic. Common extra-cranial findings in brain MRIs are described.
